Hi, kids!

We've decided to Go All Out and make turn this silly idea into one where loads of people can join! -->The Bucket Squad 2: community style. But if your art sucks we will throw you out on your ass. What an exciting and intriguing idea, yes? Who cares?! See you next time, on ...WHAT THE FUCK.

[music |Blue- Eiffel 65 (omg from back in the day)]

Hey kitty, what if we killed this and made it a community? But you have to be accepted based on two pieces of art/beauty and you're totally not allowed to post pictures of yourself at all because camwhores are the suck. You know, just for kicks and pogo sticks.

[mood |i am disappointing]

but they set the world on fire and for a moment the sky was crimson but we all soon forgot and all that was left were the photographs but no one cared for them much so they soon were discarded and years later they were found moldy in the landfills and the shapes on the lonely pieces of paper were barely discernible but they are gone now so it is alright

in the spirit of amelie [Jun. 6th, 2005|12:37 am]
we make the kessel run
[mood |determineddetermined]
[music |pacific theme- broken social scene]

i was walking down the sidewalk the other day in downtown silver spring when suddenly i heard a large thump across the street. i looked over to see a milk carton skidding over the road, and with amazement i watched as an explosion of glitter fell slowly to the sidewalk from a few yards in the air. the people standing below this explosion looked just as bewildered as i was. i looked up to the parking garage that was above the sidewalk but i could see no person standing up there, looking down with mischief or a smile. it was over in a matter of seconds and people just kept on walking, but it was beautiful.

i think it is time to start following in this anonymous benefactor's example. let's write song lyrics on the bathroom stalls of sterile office buildings, leave flowers on the counters of boring stores when the clerks aren't looking, and drop balloons from overpasses. are you in?

failure on the horizon [May. 31st, 2005|01:42 am]
we make the kessel run
[mood |frustratedfrustrated]
[music |lizzy- ben kweller]

sometimes just
feeling the sun on my eyelids as i am waking
from a cloudy tumble night of words and artificial things--

sometimes that is enough to fill me with gratitude.

the trees are speckled with light and so big,
the blanket is fluffy warm,
the light is orange, slanted and new.

put a pot of tea on the stove and
play some lazy ballads.

the morning, it can be a beautiful thing.

(i never like my poetry)
